Bidrack Review

After reading my blog post, Bidrack has contacted me about resolving the issues and have offered to mail me my iPad to make up for the bad experience due to their supplier problems and to restore my confidence in their company.  The iPad has arrived, much to my surprise and delight.  This show of good faith has made me very hopeful the Bidrack is working to become the fun site and reliable company we all want it to be.
Friends and I have won items using our free wheel-spin bids.  Some of these items were won 3 weeks ago and none have arrived.  So, while I hope that his time Bidrack will make good on their part of the deal by fulfilling purchases, I cannot verify from experience that they are shipping items. If you have received a won item recently, please comment below.
I still visit the Bidrack page almost daily for my free spin of the wheel.  While other auction sites I have tried, like Quibids, ship within days, you have to pay for every bid. Bidding with actual paid for bids makes the experience very stressful for me, like gambling with not such great odds.  I typically bid on gift cards to locations I would be going anyway, then if I lose I just use the 'buy-it-now' option and have thus only lost the $2.00 shipping fee.
Bidrack, however, gives free bids daily.  They do expire after 24 hours, so they don't stack up, but it makes the whole auction environment a lot more fun when I don't feel like I'm watching myself throw money away.
Also, there are several lower value items that are very easy to win.
All in all, if you have a bidrack account I wouldn't give up on them yet.  If you don't, I'd either go ahead and give it a try (if the $60 is not big money to you) OR wait another couple of months and see what happens.  I think they are moving in a good direction.

Congrats, I sat and watched u win, lol...I already won an iPad and since we can't win two items over $249 in a 28day period all I could do was watch and try to learn a strategy...so congrats!!

My only worry is that this may not be a legit site, I won on the 4th of February and have yet to receive any shipment confirmation or reply to e-mails asking about a confirmation...Yet they have been quick to reply back to any other question I've had...I'd love to hear if you win anything else and receive it, I will try to get back to this site if I hear anything.

Are you Babygirl! You are relentless! :)

I replied to your comment earlier today without realizing it was 'no reply'

Oh awesome! Thanks for writing me, I didn't know about that $249 thing at all. There go my hopes of a Gucci purse! :)
That is super fishy about shipping... you'd think 10 days would be adequate. The Bid Safe thing makes me feel better, I think worst case scenario we get refunded- although that would still suck after the hours I've spent on the site!! What is your screen name so I don't ever get in a bidding war with you? :)

Jessie said...

jgame1122 so no I am not babygirl, lol...I haven't purchased a bid pkg since the 1st, I'm waiting on my iPad before I purchase another...Then once I do I will repeat the same strategy of bidding for higher price items until I win then waist my leftovers on cheaper items...Because EVERY time u purchase the $60 or above pkg u get the WIN GUARANTEE back...I would really like the kindle, I saw it just sold for $40.04, and I was SO tempted to buy a pkg, but I promised my hubby I would wait...This way if none of this is legit I am only out $256.65 (which is a lot for me, BUT if I receive my $499 iPad, it was all worth it) :-)
$150~I started w/a $150 pkg
$7.92~paid for the iPad I won
$35~for a 120bid pk I had wasted $25 worth of bids on so I decided to purchase the rest of that pkg WHICH I still haven't been credited, they said this transaction gets treated like any other prize
$42.50~I also signed up for a pkg with bidsell.com *this company was BBB registered with an A rating, though I'm still not sure if I would recommend this site either*
$2.23~for the lip fushion I won today (I won this item with my free bids I've racked up by signing on every day)
$19~for the purchase I made yesterday on nomorerack.com (which is their sister site)~I just wanted to see if maybe I'd get these items or a confirmation any faster

I have come across a few questionable reviews, like the one showing proff that bidrack.com falisfied a winner pic (from when they 1st started) and the shadyness of them replying to some of my e-mails but not the ones when I asked about my winnings...However I did contact veriSign and received this confirmation from Pillay, Sean" :

I apologize for this but the Seal that appears on the payment page that says VeriSign Trusted is legitimate.

So, this means that they have been authenticated.

Kind Regards,

**he apologized because 3 minutes prior he had told me the veriSign logo on the bidrack.com website was not legit, lol...Most veriSign symbols you are able to click on and get the certificate to prove its authenticity. However as you see he replied right back and verified that the company is registered with veriSign.** This made me feel a lil more secure.

All and all I wish us both LUCK in receiving some kind of confirmation very soon...sorry this was so long, if you would like to keep contact and don't want to take up all your blog space then shoot me and e-mail...but if you would like for our info to be out there for others to see then feel free to keep our conversations on here...However if possibly please delete me e-mail address, thx!!

I 'won' my first auction on the 3rd and have yet to receive any kind of shipment notification. On the site it still says that it's i process. I sent an email the other day and haven't receive a reply yet. I'm hoping this site is legit since I've gotten a lot of smaller things for a really great price. I didn't know about the $249 thing either, but so far this doesn't apply to me. I wish I had done what you did - start out bidding on the iPad or another big ticket item so I could get my bids replenished if I didn't win. Good luck to us all for getting our wins!

Candace said...

I wonder if they are waiting to see if this thing takes off. If it doesn't, I guess it would be less expensive to refund everyone's money than ship the products. I've still got my fingers crossed. If people paid for half of the bids I saw going down yesterday on some of the big ticket items, they should be doing OK!

@ Jessie - I was watching that Kindle too! It was the first one I saw and now, of course, I want one. I really want that 55'' TV too, maybe next month. What is your email? you can email me at candace717@gmail.com
Keep us posted on when you get your NoMoreRack stuff. I know that other sites like Haute Look take forever to ship.

I think they probably warehouse only the smaller items and that big ticket stuff they get from Amazon or something. If anyone hears or someone getting their items they have to let us know right away! :)

Candace said...

Iamasunshine, good luck with the car wash! It is so fun to see people I "know" at the auction.

I was just looking at my account and noticed that it still says that my original $60 for bids is "processing". So it is possible that the statuses don't mean much.

Candace said...

I also just noticed that Onix14 has won 8 auctions in the last 2 hours and is currently winning 3 more, but the terms and conditions say you can only win 3/24 hours, 8/month.
Hmmmm.

Jami Goldberg said...

I found your blog by googling "Bidrack". I also signed up for the site when they first launched and I won four items the week of February 3rd. I have yet to receive my items or any notice regarding them. I won a hair straightener, an iPod nano, a board game, and a ring. Every time I email them about sending me my items, no one replies - but email them about something else, such as bids or general questions and I receive a response in 12 hours or less.

I'm worried and I really wish I didn't feel so taken advantage of. :(

Candace said...

Not that this makes any of us feel any better, but I haven't gotten responses to ANY of my emails- more bids, tattle-taling on this one little punk who won 8 auctions in a row (against the terms and conditions).
Has anyone tried calling customer service about shipping? I found calling was much more useful for getting my bids replenished. When I called about shipping, I was told the warehouse was a little behind in fulfillment. Of course, I won my first item two days ago so I am wondering what the story would be for someone who won 2 weeks ago?

lmsunshine said...

I got pretty quick responses from the emails I sent - except for the one asking about shipping. I guess I should read the terms and conditions better, but what is the rule about how many auctions you can win in a row? I've seen Onix14 out there a lot lately.

When I first started bidding, I was so afraid everything was rigged and 'real' people weren't winning the big stuff because it seemed like it wouldn't take my bid when it got down to the last couple of seconds and someone else always won. It's nice to hear from others who do this too. I hope you get your iPad soon!

Hey, I'm new to this bidrack site, and maybe you guys can help me before I email the company. I am trying to bid on things and there is no bid button. I just sit and watch, I have an account and everything! Got any suggestions?

Anonymous said...

It has been about a week and a half since I first won some auctions. I am worried now since I read this that so far nobody has recieved their items. I called this morning and they said that it takes usually 2-3 weeks. Before I spend any more money I am going to wait till my items are in hand before I bid again. This is what the lady on the phone said "You shouldn't have to worry. We have many customers returning and buying bid packs, if they were not recieving their stuff then they wouldn't be buying bid packs" To me that still does not prove anything. I want proof that people are getting their items!

Anonymous said...

BAD, BAD website, stay away!!!! I bought a $60 bid pack and didn't win. I emailed and not only did I not hear from them (or get bids back) they 'closed' my ticket, so had no intention of giving my bids back. Great to those who won, but what a waste of time (and money at this point. I plan on going through my cc company to get money back.

Good news!! I just recieved my ion digital watch that I accidently bid on and won for $.02. I won it on Feb 8th and recieved it today in a Priority envelope that had a return address from:
Fulfillment Experts,Inc

Winter Park, FL 32789

So that makes me feel a little better about the site. Now I just can't wait to get my CHI flat iron and some purses that I won. Hopefully they do come.

PS. I didn't even get charged the $2 shipping rate and I live in Alaska.

Addition to the post above.....I also did not recieve any kind of email saying they shipped my item (watch). It just showed up.

Hello all
I found your site after trying to research bidrack and nomorerack. Needless to say I have nothing good to say about those websites. Maybe some of you have seen me bid on that site. Id amandajwhitty. Anyways I bought 3 watches on nomorerack waited 1 month and then finally received them. I was completely disgusted when I opened the watches and seen that the bands were embedded with ink spots all over them. I called their number and was told that the items they sent me were not like that when they shipped them. Hmmm hard to believe that when they were individual boxes and there wasn't any ink on those boxes. They would not let me send them back to receive a refund. So now my 2 and 4year olds play dress up with them. waste of $30. Then I started bidding on bidrack before I received my nomorerack order. I purchased a package for $27 and started bidding away. I have won 7 items a month ago and only received 1. The purse came to my door with the beading falling off the strap, a broken zipper, and the color a god awful brown when what the picture was showing was a black purse. Where are my other 6 items?? Hmmm, your guess is as good as mine. I have emailed them 24 times (yes very serious) They will not reply. I call and they tell me to wait a moment so they can get someone on the line to answer my questions but the phone goes mute and I get hung up on. I have called 6 times. Stay away from this site. I wish I would have.

Anonymous said...

I emailed them about my items and this is the response I got about 48 hours later.

Thank you for contacting us. My apologies for the delayed response. Right now because things have started we are quoting longer shipping times, about 3 weeks from purchase date. Under "My Profile" and then "Order History" you *should* be able to see the status change from "processing" to having a tracking number, however I have actually talked to customers who have received items while their account still said processing. I hope this information was helpful. Soon we will be more true to our FAQ where processing times are quoted as 48-72 business hours and up to 7 days under extreme circumstances. Thanks again, and have a lovely day! Should you need anything else, don't hesitate to contact us. We're here for you 24/7! Warm Regards,DeniseBidrack - The fun way to save!

Amanda W said...

@Anonymous I have contacted my cc and working on that right now. I also have contacted buysafe and I have not heard back from them. So currently I am in limbo.

Amanda W said...

I just received an email from bidrack. They are refunding me for what I paid for the items but are not refunding me the 27.00 I paid to purchase bids for these items. They would not reply why I haven't received my actual items I won over a month ago. Stay away from this site! You have to think, If they had these items why not just send them to me? Hmmmm....what a scam and a waste of my time!

Anonymous said...

I also noticed that they are doing the refer a friend promotion and saying they will ship those out like March 2nd/3rd. If they can do that then surely those who have won apple products (ipads, itouches, nanos) in my opinion should get those FIRST!

Anonymous said...

I hate to say this but I wouldn't bet on getting those products. I received a bunch of emails back to back after I threatened to report them for taking my money and never sending my items. Basically in a nutshell they told be their hands are tied and they do not know where everyone's items are. I have yet to see my refund back into my account.

Anonymous said...

I have won 20 auctions on 2 different accounts but have yet to receive anything. My mother in law won an ipad and I am worried she wont get it either. I am going to report fraud to my cc and see if I can get my money back. Let me know if any of you get your money back from your cc.

Anonymous said...

I have won 12 items in the past 13 days. Well I have recvd 2. Both hats both in good condition. I did win a gucci purse so i am hoping that shows up. As far as getting any responsed from customer service, they have always answered me take a few days. My computer even froze up during a bidding wore and I lost i emailed them and they returned all of my bids to me. I think it just depends on who you talk to and who you get. I hope everyone gets their stuff and in good condition. I hope everyone on here keeps up updated on what they get and when.

Jessie said...

As far as my experience with nomorerack.com (a sister site to bidrack.com) I have placed two orders so far...The 1st order took 11 days to arrive and the 2nd took only 5 days...All items were just as expected, I ordered a jacket and it is lovely, came in the makers plastic bag with their logo on front...I personally will continue to shop with nomorerack.com

As for bidrack.com I have won items and am still waiting, I continue to keep the faith...I am hoping that in 2 weeks I will start to receive my items or at least receive a tracking # as they have told me I should.

Good luck to you all!!

Anonymous said...

Don't get your hopes up on bidrack. It's been nearly a month for me. Don't get me started on their customer service reps, they have been very unhelpful.

Anonymous said...

Hi Anon,

I've been waiting for confirmation on my ipad win as well. Very dissapointed in there customer service. I've tried contacting them about a delivery time, and I've gotten vague answers. I'll be pursuing my cc and claiming fraud charges.

Anonymous said...

Going on almost a month and a half and still 7 missing items. Told I would receive a refund but that hasn't happened. So I do not have my items and I do not have a refund.

sam said...

I am extremely unhappy with bidrack. I won an ipod nano Feb 2nd, and the status page still says that the order is processing. I've called customer service many times, and they keep telling me that it should ship soon. Yeah right. If I don't see a tracking number in two more weeks, I'm filing a claim with my cc company, and reporting bidrack to the Better Business Bureau. I notice that they're STILL selling Mac items, even though they don't seems to have shipped to a single person who has actually won and ipod or an ipad. What a scam. If they have the items "in their warehouse", why not just ship them.

Anonymous said...

Have you heard of any one getting a big ticket item (ipad, tv etc.) yet?

Its been nearly 30 days since I won my iPad. The last couple of weeks I have been going round and round with bidracks customer service I have been told for the last 2 weeks that my iPad is shipping by the end of the week(can we say run around). If I don't have a tracking number by Friday I'm filing fraud complaints with my bank, the BBB and FTC.

Sidenote: I am noticing nomorerack is deleting all negative posts regarding bidrack on their facebook page.

Anonymous said...

Why did you delete the post? How did bidrack change their policy??

Anonymous said...

These guys are crooks. End of Story!

Anonymous said...

I have won 6 items on bidrack and have not had confirmation on any of them. The first item is a Kors purse and that was 6 weeks ago. I am very leery about this site. I don't believe they are shipping anything. My girlfriend has been waiting 5 weeks for a gift card!!! Even on person in a warehouse could ship hundreds of packages a day!!!! I will not buy any more packages until I see proof with delivery. Also, I will not refer any one else!!!

Amanda said...

I won 5 auctions I did recieve1-a camera. I too won an ipad and not anything before. I got this email:

Hello Amanda,

Thanks for contacting us! Due to our suppliers being a little late to ship to us, that makes us at fault for delay shipping. We deeply apologize for this issue that we are aware of, and working on. Please be patient with us to as we get your items shipped out to you. Thanks so much!

in my opinion they don't need to be auctioning off merchandise they don't have IN HAND.

Anonymous said...

I am also waiting on my orders from Bidrack -- a bunch of $25 and $50 gift cards, the first of which I won on February 2nd. I notified Bidrack today that if I don't receive my items, or the cash value of my items, by 5pm on April 18th, I am filing suit in small claims court for breach of contract. This is ridiculous!

Anonymous said...

I have won 28 auctions to date and received none of them.My purchases date back as far as 8+ weeks.make sure you contact buysafe and file your dispute they are a reputable company and will help in getting your money back. keep in mind that you have to file within 30 days of transaction though. bidrack and nomorerack are based in Canada and only sell in the U.S.,the more information and b.s. I get from both of these sites brings me to the conclusion of a scam being perpetuated on us all. please remember to file your disputes and report them to the bbb.good luck to everyone!!!

Anonymous said...

An email went out saying that they could not fulfill orders prior to March 15. All outstanding auctions are cancelled. They will be refunding all the money spent. They have other options where they can offer bids for the value of items bought and send a free jewelry piece. What a waste, and to think they actually had a site that would of have worked if they followed through...

Anonymous said...

BIDRACK.COM – STAY AWAY!!! This company sucks big time. I bought bids specifically to win the Apple iPad which I did and they charged my credit card. A month later I get an email from them stating that due to problems with their supplier that none of my items could be shipped. Funny, that day they were still auctioning off an Apple iPad but they didn’t have one to send me. They offered me a cheap piece of jewelry and 100 bids back. After I won the iPad I did google bidrack.com and I wish I had earlier. Nothing but complaints and same issues I am having – they do NOT deliver the goods!!
I laughed at there offer of free bids because they don’t ship the goods so what good does it do me – they don’t send the items and then you have the hassle of getting your money back. In fact if I hadn’t called them it doesn’t appear they would have credited my credit card (still waiting to see if this actually happens though). In my opinion they are at the very least a poorly run company if not a complete scam. PLEASE FOR YOUR SAKE STAY AWAY!!!

No more rack decided to take the RISK of opening a penny auction site. When they lost money during the first month because of glaring mistakes in their model they decided to forgo the RISK and erase any losses they had incurred.

To do this they first changed the rules and applied the changes retrospectively. They then canceled all previous orders.

This takes the loss away from Bidrack and puts the loss on the us the customers. The customers who put up the cash and spent HOURS on the site bidding on items.

Bidrack thinks they will avoid a loss by shifting the losses to the customers, but in the end Bidrack will be the biggest loser because of the backlash from the general public.

I encourage anyone reading this to join the backlash by calling bidrack to complain at 855-900-7225. Or email them at support@bidrack.com.

If anyone has paid bidrack for bids and received the email about the "canceled orders" you can get your money back by calling your credit card company and explaining the situation to them.

And finally make a complaint to www.buysafe.com who initially vouched for bidrack.

I get super confused when there are like 4 big items that people are bidding on (like today, there was a Macbook, a few other big items and a xbox plus KInect) People were going crazy bidding on them all except the Kinect. It went for .53 cents. How is that possible?? When the other things were up to $19.00 and such, do people just not want to bid on certain things? I just find it fishy that a big name product can go for so cheap. Do they have "ghost" prizes that go for so cheap so that people will get hopeful and keep coming back to buy more bids? (Am I making sense?)

Anonymous said...

Has anyone else noticed the winning bids, for high priced items, going between 1-3 bids used? How could that be possible for pretty much all of the winning bids when so many people are bidding numerous times? I think there is set limit/amount, of bids acquired, that is put in place and once it's there a bot comes in and wins the item. I actually watched an IPAD go from 2 seconds straight to Sold. There was absolutely no Going Once...Twice. I think I've only seen one high end item go for like 122 bids used - which makes more sense. However that is like 1 real person winning out of dozens of auctions each week.

I won and iPad on the 17th of March and I used 72 bids and I got the iPad delivered FED EX on the 24th of March. I won it for $40.66. I also won a Juicy checkbook wallet and got it like in 3 day's. I love BidRack!! I do know that everything that was won prior to the March 15th was not delivered but anything won on March 15th to present is being delivered.

Anonymous said...

Haha, lucky you didn't win it 3 days earlier. Then all of your time and effort would have been completely wasted! I am still waiting on receiving any items from Bidrack, including those I won 9 days ago.

I'd feel better if you weren't anonymous.. Perhaps you could provide a link to the auction page for that? Thanks.

Personally, I got screwed in "beta" but ended with a full refund, and then used some of my "sorry about that!" bids to win more small stuff, none of which has arrived yet.

Can you give me the info to contact these people. I have been obsessed with this site lately, playing in the morning and afternoon. I have been in the middle of winning an auction and the site has locked me out, last night it went down completely and all the company posts is that if you wre winning an auction at the time it went down, all credits will be returned(which they were not) and just about ten minutes ago, it showed I won a macbook laptop and then it showed another name after I won...and he only used 1 bid. I am confident this is a scam and I would really love to let them know I am upset but cannot find a way to contact. Thank you for the great info!!!

I, too, have noticed that all of the big ticket items are selling for 1-3 bids. Every one I've checked over the past week. I would guess I've looked at about 40 in that time, and while one sold with 4 bids, the rest were all with 1-3. Seems very suspicious. I do not bid on any of the large ticket items, only on smaller ones. I've won several smaller ones, none have shipped so far, but I can say they are win-able.

Anonymous said...

I don't have an issue with a product as I realized what a scam these bid sites are years ago. However, I liked nomorerack and though perhaps this would be different (silly me). I won a whole 10 bids for a penny. Oops! I then happened to see the $4.99 charge for shipping and called. The barely civil rep said no, it was just for items. Imagine my surprise when I found out it's $1.99 for "shipping" bids! I sent a rather scathing email. We'll see what happens. Hmmm....wonder if I do a chargeback what would happen? Banned forever. Darn, what a loss. /sarcasm

I wish I had read all of this BEFORE I spent $60 - once I started I began to realize that this is a scam. for example: I have seen many iTunes in the "finished" auctions - I searched and searched and never found an iTunes gift card - then suddenly another one turns up in the finished auction. Similar observations with big ticket items - suddenly an item appears in the finished section but I never saw it on the live or featured auction. I think anyone who has done business with them should report them. I am looking up some information about that -I think the AG in your state?

I was skeptical about winning at first, because I lost 200 bids on NOT winning high end items. But I have won multiple gift card items recently, although I haven't receive them yet. I called customer service after 72 hours for shipping(as stated on website) today, and I was told that I should be receiving a gift-card redemption email sometime this week. I hope so... I did read a blog somewhere that bidrack sent them redemption codes for giftcertificates.com. Anyway, I do know that it is possible to win on bidrack, and I don't think they have "fake" winners. And to comment on the sudden 2 second jump winning, that has happened to me 2 times. I was the current winner at the time, and suddenly there seemed to be a problem with their system, and I "WON"! I would assume they were fraudulent too if I wasn't the one winning! lol I think this may have to do with keeping the winning price LOW, so as to attract more newcomers. Anyways, I am still waiting to verify the authenticity of bidrack, however I have verified that quibids is legit. I won 2 items from quibids ($50 American Airline Giftcard & $10 Chili's Giftcard), and have received both within 7 business days. I win definitely update y'all with bidrack. I'm commenting as Anonymous because I am unfamiliar with what the other choices mean (I'm new to blogging):) If others have updates on receiving their winning items, please let us know too.

BidRack is a scam run by Deepak Argawal he is responsible for many online scams. They will ship cheap items, expensive ones when people complain and maybe refunds if you complain enough. You can spend hours begging for your money back OR you can CALL YOUR BANK AND DISPUTE THE CHARGE. This takes 10 minutes at most, if they want you to sign some forms, print these complaints and mail it back with a copy to your local politician. I've been totally scammed by bidrack. They're a waste of time! There "featured auctions" are obviously fixed! I've been trying to get a refund ($60 for 100 bids) but have been told repeatedly that when I signed up it clearly states there is no refunds. I explained that they clearly mislead people into purchasing bids, & are a scam, but they don't seem to care. I'm trying to get the word out about how awful they are! I'll call my bank on Monday & see if I can get them to get my money back (thank you Anonymous above!) They're a joke!!!!! I mean, how many Coach bags & Macbook Airs can they possibly have??? I feel so stupid for being scammed by them! Thanks for posting this blog!

Bidrack is a huge scam, Please everyone goes ahead and file a complaint to government, so they can stop this website and do the investigation.

Bidrack’s website said “Hurry and Receive a Special Bonus Offer!”

I put in my information.

It took me to another page and asked for my CC#. I figured it was for storage purchases so that when I bought something my card would be on file. I hit “Enter” and it said “Congratulations on your order!” I didn’t know what I bought!

When I put in my information I figured 1 of 2 things would happen: 1. They were asking for my credit card # so they could validate it before I started bidding and then store it in the event that I actually bought something. Or 2. There would be an order confirmation page like you get on every single website I’ve ever EVER shopped on that says, “Order Confirmation” at the top and lists your address, the last four of the CC#, the amount of the charge, and what you’re buying. At that point, if you decide, “oops, I made a mistake” you can hit “cancel order” or you can submit the order. Either way, I was safe. They were either storing my CC# or there would be an order confirmation page where I could opt out if you were indeed trying to charge me something.

I immediately e-mailed them and am being told I bought $49 worth of bids and they have a strict no-refund policy. I e-mailed them back and told them I needed to speak with someone about this and explained once again that I didn’t know I was buying anything. All I received in reply was “Someone from Bidrack already responded to your question. We have a strict no-refund policy.” I am very angry! $50 is a BIG DEAL to me. All I wanted to do was look around and now I’m out 50 bucks because of it. What a scam!

Stay away!!!!!! Bidrack is a scam.website!!!!! They make you give them your CC# and you think your just putting it on file and they charge your card 99.00!! A option automatically chosen when you put your CC number in which you dont see until you look at your bank account. They will NOT refund you your money and they will use the excuse that you authorized it!! When you were misguided to begin with. I am trying to get my money back from my CC company! Please keep posting blogs!!! Put their company out of business!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

If you notice, all positive comments are written in the same cheeky format. Clearly the company is fishing for a few more suckers to give them their CC #s. I was about to give them my CC #, so glad I decided to look around a bit first. Don't believe any of the positive reviews, they clearly originate from Bidrack themselves...what a joke!!

I tried to file a complaint with BuySafe about Bidrack. I was checking out Bidrack and gave them my cc. What a mistake! I checked my credit card and I was charged $99 for 175 bids. I never bid on that - never would. So I put in a ticket and asked to stop my account. This is what I received:

"We thank you for reaching out to us here at Bidrack!

We do see that you have purchased our $99 bid package of 175 bids. Directly to the left of where you enter your card number it states that you are being charged $99 and you will receive 175 bids. We are very sorry that you did not wish to do this. We apologize deeply for the inconvenience this may have caused. Unfortunately, due to our policies as stated in the terms and conditions you agreed to, I cannot give you a refund. But what I have gone ahead and done for the inconvenience, is give you 120 additional bids which is a $80 value. These bids have been added to your account already."

I wrote back and said "no thank you - but I want out and a refund NOW." Why would I want more bids from a company like this. No way!! We'll see what happens. I am very upset with how this company is taking advantage of so many people. Calling my credit card company tomorrow.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! I had the exact thing happen to me today and got the same information as above, I was never told I was ordering anything and got charged 99.00. I have reported this the Bidrate site and have contacted my bank about the fraudulent charges.

Hi, I wrote this post further up the page back in April:

Has anyone else noticed the winning bids, for high priced items, going between 1-3 bids used? How could that be possible for pretty much all of the winning bids when so many people are bidding numerous times? I think there is set limit/amount, of bids acquired, that is put in place and once it's there a bot comes in and wins the item. I actually watched an IPAD go from 2 seconds straight to Sold. There was absolutely no Going Once...Twice. I think I've only seen one high end item go for like 122 bids used - which makes more sense. However that is like 1 real person winning out of dozens of auctions each week.
April 8, 2011 10:03 PM

Okay, as of now from what I can tell, BidRack still does not actually have more than one real winner out of dozens (if not more) of auctions for the "featured auctions." As for the cheap auctions: Yes you can win and you will receive the items. I won some boots that actually came within a week. However don't expect your gift cards anytime soon. I won my first gift card on 4/2/11 and I just got it (by way of egiftcertificates.com)on 5/10/11. And I just got the next email today for my second gift certificate that I won on 4/26/11. Okay, they have like 8 more to send me that I've won, and they, apparently, send the $10 email vouchers to egift one at a time. I should have all my April giftcert. wins by June and my May by July, I guess.

Also, thanks to the person who wrote about Quibids. It is a whole lot better than any of the other sites. I see why they can afford that cheesy commercial on TV. You can actually win good items if you bid right.

Anonymous said...

I have to say if people could work together on Bidrack, and sites like it, we could all get a lot of items for little money. Why are people bidding up to $5.00 or more for 100 bids when there are more 25, 45, and 100 bid auctions following right behind. Especially, on Bidrack. News Flash: You will not win a "Featured Auction" unless you're that one lucky person out of, I would say, every 10th to 15th auction for that one item. Why are people racking up so many bids for items they can't win.

Anonymous said...

For the person who won the Walmart gift card. If you won around the date you wrote your comment then expect 3 weeks at least before you get an egiftcertificates.com email.
Also, wanted to let others know I got my remaining gift card emails (see 2 posts above) the same day as my second gift card email just a little later in the day. Once you get your egiftcertificates.com email you can actually expect to finally get your gift card. They send you a tracking email once the card has been sent. I just ordered two more gifts cards and have $50 left to use. The egiftcert. site has a lot of places to choose from so I can't decide on the remaining balance. Target, Walmart, Itunes and Best Buy are in the list but once you see the list you might want something else. Hope this helps someone else.

Can you say 'Charge Back'?

ANY TIME a merchant refuses to credit your CC account and you are in the right, they WILL take care of it and it costs the company CC fees both ways.

Just call your CC company and provide the usually minimal info and it'll get taken care of. Info such as proof of returning the product, etc.

I've done several 'charge backs' over the years and on the only occasion the merchant disputed it still came out to my favor.

I only scanned through the voluminous posts and think others have mentioned or alluded to this but it can't be stressed enough. This is ONE case where the CC companies, at least in my experience, are on your side. Notwithstanding they [ the CC cos. ] are all a bunch of greedy bast.. er jerks... ';)

Seeing people bid high on the "Google Android Tablet PC" on BidRAck(currently at $66.23 right now). I would advise everyone to read the reviews on this item on Amazon or another review source first. Not good, from what I have read. However I do believe BidRack actually has this item in stock,(probably because no one wanted it), and you can actually win it and it will be shipped to you.

I stumbled onto Bidrack last night. Not sure how but was on ebay and next thing I am on their site. So I went on to look around. Did the registration bit, and at some point it said I had to enter CC info in case I won a auction.
Today when I logged onto my Bank Account I find they had helped themselves to US $99.00, mind you I never purchased anything, never was asked if I really wanted to purchase an item, not once did i see anything even remotely hinting at my making a purchase, and I didn't even get the customary "Thank you for your purchase" email, something every single online Vendor has done.
If I had not logged onto my account I wouldn't have known about this transaction until a few months from now - way too late do initiate any kind of legal action if needed.
I am giving them a call in the morning offering one, and one chance only to make it right. If they I am refunded I will just never return and aside from warning friends will let it slide. If I am not refunded the $99.00 I will immediately contact VISA with a fraudulent fund withdrawal from my account, and probably stop off at the Federal Building and file a formal complaint with the Attorney General's Office, and will report, complain and file with whomever I can ... I am a very forgiving sort, except when someone tries to cheat, or in this case flat out tries to steal my money .... Best of luck to you all in getting your items, at least your "supposed" to get something for the money spent, in my case I would have thought it a nice try if they'd at least sent me a email telling me that my very brief visit to their site just cost me $99.00, along with a "And please to come back soon .." but no such luck.

signed up on Bidrack because it said I could do so for free. Checked bank account and saw a $99.00 charge. Went back to Bidrack and found I'd purchased one of their bid packs. Called their support line and was told no refund although I'd just signed up and never used the site to bid. A Call to my bank said they couldn't process a complaint until the "pending" purchase was completed by Bidrack 3 to 5 days later. Thanks for all the above feedback on the site. Keeping my fingers crossed printing this out will confirm the dispute and appropriate action by the bank will be taken.

Please do not get scammed by Bidrack! I used the site for about a month and realized I was just losing a lot of money. I got an e-mail today confirming purchase of a bid packet for $99.00 (that I did not purchase). The first e-mail from Bidrack said sorry no refund but we will GIVE you 120 extra bids. I countered with disputing the charge on my credit card and contacting the Better Business Bureau. The next e-mail offered me a $49.99 refund (that they had never done for any other customer (GAG!!). I countered that I was forwarding all the e-mails to my attorney. Next e-mail I got a full refund!! The last e-mail I sent them was to close my account. This site should be shut down!

I sent numerous emails to them but they never once offered me a refund maybe I need to scare them and tell them that I am reporting to the attorney thanks for the tip

Bidrack is a scam. They use fraud to get $99 out of people, and then they falsify their auctions for items that they do not have, but try to buy online at eBay and other places, but only if they are forced to by a persistent buyer. I work for the California Attorney General, and I am warning anyone who reads this blog to stay away from this scam site, and if you are taken by them, file a complaint with the FCC and AG, and with your bank. My own bank has stated that they will no longer accept any charges from this company. That is how you put these people out of business.

Anonymous said...

People need to start reading fully before they give their credit card number on a website. I went through the initial sign-up process and if you look at what you are registering for it does say you are BUYING a bidpack when you enter your credit card information. It is on the right side of the screen. I am not saying that bidrack is a good company, it is misleading, but you should always read in detail what you are signing up for before you give any credit card information.

Anonymous said...

I think they just recently changed their website to read that u are buying a bidpack...they probable received a lot of complaints honestly if I had saw that I definitely would not have signed in let alone give my cc#

Anonymous said...

The exact same thing happened to me too. I was charged $99.00 on 5/17. I called and e-mailed on the same day to request the refund, however they declined my request. So I decided to start bidding and determined to win at least one item to make my money worth. After 2 weeks of trying, I gave up, because I realized there is no way I can win. I can not understand how all the big winners only bid 2 or 3 bids to win. How could all the other bidders disappeared all at once? I started questioning about this web site. that's how I read all the reviews and learned I am not the only idiot. Therefore I e-mail to the customer care last night and I got the response today that my refund request had been gone through, I should receive the refund in 5-7 days. Thanks to every one posting here.

In regards to june3posting you got lucky to get a refund they still refuse to refund me I am getting nvm involved hoping that they will listen to them still waiting for my money what email did u use and how did u convince them to refund u the money and who did u talk to the person who has agreed to give your money back any info is apreciated

Anonymous said...

To answer your question on 6/3 posting:
I did not talk to anyone, I only sent the e-mail to customer care. In my e-mail I stated that from my own experience and gathering information from the reviews on internet, I came out the following 2 facts/conclusions:
1: I am not the only one who was charged $99 on the credit card when registering. There are many people had exactly the same situation.
2: The big item winners are almost impossible, because the system is set whom to win for the predetermined price. Most the time the winners are not a real person. This can be proved that almost all the big winners only spent 1 to 3 bids and the ending time had only 2 seconds, not the the regular 10 seconds, giving the bidders no chance to continue bidding.

I also stated that I am not comfortable bidding on bidreck and don't want to have any more business with them, therefore I am requesting the refund. In order to make sure they would grant my request, I also stated that I have reported the scam to my bank and filed a complaint to Texas(which is my residential state) General Attorney Office.

I hope this posting help and good luck to you. If you wish to have my original e-mail, I will send it to you.

I have to agree with anonymous from June 1, 2011 at 10:36 pm. I think that the $99 automatic bid pack must be new. When I signed up in April 2011 I noticed that the area for the 100 bids for $60 was already picked. So, I quickly changed it to the 45 bids for $27.00 option before I submitted my CC info. I wonder if the same is happening for those of you who have written about the $99 issue. Maybe you didn't notice that the $99 option was already picked, before you submitted your CC info, and all that had to be done was to just change to the cheaper package, like I did, before your CC info was submitted.

any one have their number i can have so i can call them to ask why they charge $49 to my credit card when i registered with them?

Anonymous said...

After reading this, I still went to check them out. There is a $60 charge clearly stated. I'll keep researching, not all reviews are bad. I'm probably going to do it. I'll let you know.

I too recently fell for the 99.00 unknown purchase scam that bidrack is doing. Immediately contacted them and got the no, you agreed to the terms and conditions. I responded back that "I did NOT accept your terms or conditions--no where on the registration page does there seem to be a link or check box that I can select to say I have agreed to the terms and conditions nor do the terms and conditions appear on the second page that you are directed to (the buy bids page).
This website has a terrible user interface that I believe is designed to purposely scam unknowing customers into buying something that they are unaware of purchasing. There should NOT be a default selected bid package, there SHOULD be a purchase confirmation page, the submit button should say "submit for purchase" or something along those lines--certainly NOT "I'm ready to start winning"-- this statement makes it seem that your registration is complete, not that you just made a purchase.
If you do not issue me the full refund of $99.00 I plan to dispute this charge with my bank and will contact the Better Business Bureau." After i filed a complaint with BBB, I received an email from them offering to give me 49.50 back and that I must accept this agreement within 48 hours. This is not acceptable, so I plan to report this as a fraudulent charge.

Anonymous said...

An update to my 6/4 posting: Believe it or not, I did receive every penny I spent on Bidrack, which includes the $99 and the money I spent on bidding on the 'bid package'. Well, I feel so lucky, and feel sorry for you all who have not got the refund. My advice is keep on trying and good luck!!

Anonymous said...

I see there are mixed feeling. Some got your money back and products others didn't. At first they double charged me the $99. I had no problem getting one of the charges refunded. And when I won some cool things, I did get them. (although it took forever.) I really don't have a complaint. I really like bidrack. Sorry to disagree with the majority.

We are all so stupid for going to this site. I answered a craigslist ad regarding an ipad for sale and the person said that they sold the ipad, but I should check out bidrack. This person wrote that they have been winning ipads on bidrack very easily for half the price they go for on craigslist or ebay and then reselling them. I signed up, but did not bid on anything, because the site didn't look right. I googled bidrack and found that bidrack scam is the first suggestion. I read all about the various problems people have with the site and the next day discovered that I was charged 99 dollars by bidrack. They don't give refunds. Their customer service rep doesn't have contact with the refund department. From what I've read, bidrack has been around since at least January 2011. How are they still operating? When you google ipad, their ad comes up on the side. There should be some kind of legal mechanism to put them out of business.

Anonymous said...

The only phone number for them is 1-800-238-6195. The service reps claim that they only communicate with bidrack via email and that is the only way to contact anyone with the company. I guess they just answered an ad and were emailed instructions about how to answer these calls.

This firm, Bidrack, uses deceptive advertising to remove you from your money.

Even its terms and conditions, to which you are not invited to read before entering your credit card, are less than candid.

Nowhere does Bidrack explicitly declare that when you enter your credit card, it will be charged and, if you elect not to use Bidrack thereafter, no cash refund will be made.

Pretty simple for a reputable firm to make this condition clear at the outset.

Anonymous said...

Bidrack is deceptive and a fraud. I too purchased a 60.00 package but Bidrack charged me for the $60 package AND a $99 package. Let me be clear about this: When you go to purchase a bid package, the $99 is selected automatically, I noticed this immediatelly and CHANGED my option to the $60 package, however to my surprise, when I checked my account they had charged my account a total of $159.00!! I spoke with a representative and she told me I must have selected the $99 package also, otherwise they would not have charged me. I advised her that I am not stupid and know exactly what I purchased, she said there was nothing she could do about it. In addition I logged on to the site every day and was never able to access the free spin wheel until about two and a half weeks after they ripped me off the additional $99 and they could not offer up any reason why I could not access the free spin wheel. I sent and email about this as well with no response!! I won several auctions and not one has been processed! NOW LISTEN TO THIS; I have 21 bid packs I have won but when I went to pay for them today, mysteriously my credit card has been deleted and not by me, Bidrack deleted it, now the only way I can pay for bid packs I have won and to update my credit card information is to purchase yet another bid package so that Bidrack can charge additional money to my account. This is CLEARLY fraudulous. Do not be taken in by this devious site. I will definately be reporting this to all agencies available for such fraudulent activity. I cannot believe how they get away with this over and over!!

the BBB is a good option but file first with the Attorney Generals office, they by law have to follow up on all complaints and after so many the company will get heafty fines. so start there!

Stay away from Bidrack! I got tricked into buying a $99 bid package when I "registered for free" because they ask for a credit card for "verification" then charge on it immediately without allowing me to confirm my "purchase". While I was fighting this, I did bid on some cheap stuff and got - after almost 2 months - exactly what I paid for. All three items were shipped in the same box, even though I spend $7 EACH for shipping. I have another item that I paid for but I'll be they are waiting for me to order something else so they can rip me off on shipping again. Never. Oh and I got my $99 back....

I also referred a friend and he purchased a BidRack pack and received 40 non-expiring bids.I come back daily and 2 days ago I won a Kindle Wireless Reading Device for $12.51 using my Free bonus bids. When I clicked on the PAY NOW button it takes me to a Order Summary for BidPacks. It will NOT allow me to go past this page to pay for my Kindle. I have called BidRack 6 times and even emailed them ONLY to be given a phone number that will not work. The customer service rep. told me I need to purchase a BidPack of at least 40 Bids BEFORE I am able to purchase any items on the site. I explained I DID purchase 2 BidPacks (5) each in an auction and they didn't seem to have a problem with that so why now? Why are they not allowing me to purchase the Kindle because I used the Free Bonus Bids to win it with? My daughter never purchased a large Bidpack to win items, in fact she showed me how to buy the small bidpacks like I did so that I could win auctions and NOT have to buy their larger packages.
Only ONE of the Customer Service Reps told me I had to buy the larger packages to pay for my Kindle, the others stated there is a problem with the site and they are working on it. Seems like a crock of bull to me. In my profile I deleted my credit card information as I do not want them to have it on file so they can charge it whenever they want. Any ideas what I can do to get them to allow me to pay for my Kindle? rhondabossom@aol.com

i bid on several things about 2 months ago and they took forever to come. it was never anything big tho.. it was a watch, that i had googled and liked but when i got it, it looked nothing like i expected.. i also got the slingshot with the 5 free bullets.. got the slingshot, about a month after winning the bid and there was no 'bullets'.. and then it just recently broke. (guess i can't expect much for 40 cents... and the last thing i won i can't even remember (must have not been important)i don't like this site.. and also have deleted my credit card numbers. i do whoever go to another site which is legit and have won several giftcards, which i have already spent. beware of this site.
